In the heart of Mars, Pennsylvania, less than 30 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, Megan and Salvatore embarked on a journey of love and commitment at the exquisite Twelve Oaks Mansion. As their chosen wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the intimate and enchanting moments that unfolded on this special day.
Nestled on a secluded hill and surrounded by scenic views, Twelve Oaks Mansion proved to be the perfect backdrop for Megan and Salvatore's reception. The venue's elegant charm and romantic gazebos set the stage for a day filled with love and celebration. With beautifully-decorated indoor spaces, a sweeping lawn perfect for portraits (especially large groups & big families!) and a Grand Ballroom featuring sparkling chandeliers, the mansion offered a picturesque canvas for their love story to unfold.
Twelve Oaks Mansion welcomed guests with a self-playing baby grand piano and a marble-floored entrance leading to the library—a cozy space ideal for indoor ceremonies or cocktail hours. The Grand Ballroom, with its open dance floor and space for 250 guests, showcased large windows providing ample natural light and opened onto an outdoor patio with breathtaking views. As the sun set, Megan and Salvatore enjoyed an incredible sunset backdrop, making their celebration truly unforgettable.
The dedicated team at Twelve Oaks Mansion worked closely with the couple to make their wedding dreams a reality, offering a day-of coordinator for support. Tables, fruitwood Chiavari chairs, china, flatware, water goblets, and custom built-in bars were provided, ensuring a seamless and elegant celebration.
Megan's wedding day was adorned with unique moments that added a personal touch to the celebration. A first look with her bridesmaids, a heartwarming first look with her father, and a meticulously choreographed first dance with Salvatore were just a few of the highlights.
